I'm planning to bake 

Triple Chocolate Mousse Cake

for Christmas.

This is a practice,

Chocolate cake plus

Coffee Mousse.

Some kind of a new cake to make,

and it was a big success!!!

Yummy!

Both parts are fluffy and light, 

I love it!

 My annual event, baking cookies for Santa, 

I did a lot earlier this year.

I don't do Christmas tree

because my room is small

and my cats gonna bother....etc

So then my daughter gave me

a little tree, it's alive tree, 

and I feel like Christmas:-))

Halloween this year will be cool,

I mean the weather.

Usually, kids go out Trick or Treat with their costume

sometimes sweating in it.

The day before, the temperature was 56 F in the morning,

it means very very cold here in South Florida,

and it is still October!

We have a lot of rainy days recently

and the cold day came earlier,

I thought that this winter is going to be

COLD AND WET

but the weather report predicts

WARM AND DRY

............

something is very wrong

My daughter, with her big cousins, climbed up,

were gathering colored leaves,

made a mountain of leaves....

for more than 25 years of memories.

Because of Hurricane Irma coming straight at Florida Peninsula,

we escaped to North, a steady house of my daughter's boyfriend's parents' house.

Even the hurricane shutter, my cats are so glad to an open window...

何故だろう、この子は

風の強かった日のあと、

4階のベランダで倒れていた。

クーラーが４－５日故障した。

始めは冷たいタイルの床にベタッとしてたネコ達。

 意外だったのは、ベッドの下に潜って

暗い隅っこにジッとしてた。

そっか、ベッドの下って

陽が当たらないコーナーで

結構涼しいわけね。

私も行こうっと。

あまりに寝苦しかったから

アイスノンくっつけて寝る。

試にイーブイに乗っけてみたら

拒否せずにじっとしてた。

よっぽど暑い思いをしてたんだろう。

ほんの１０秒くらいでも

毛がヒンヤリになってた＾＾

お隣の人が保護して、

数時間預かった。

人の手の中でこんなに安心して

眠ってしまうなんて、

何とカワイイ！！

のだけれど

ローカルテレビ局のヘリが

すぐ近くの空で長い間ホバーリングしていて

何だろうなと思っていたあと、

出かけてみたら交通渋滞が。

すぐそばのバス停で

バスを待っていた人が

暴走してきた車に突っ込まれて亡くなったらしい。

いつも通る場所だっただけに

なんだかとても怖かった。

それを知らない時に撮ったヘリの写真・・・

全然カモフラージュになってないから。

気味の悪い目がたくさん

地面から見上げてた、みたいな植物。

どこが目みたいかわかるでしょ。

少し伸びてきたのでマシだけど

先っぽの、目の部分だけが地面にあったのって

すごく怖かったよ。

So many creepy eyes looked up from the ground....

now in this picture, it looks better when 

this plant grew longer, but

it was like, the eye part on the top ONLY

were on the ground and so many

it was very scary !!

電話を買い替えて、新しい電話からの写真が

初めの数日はちゃんとこっちに来ていたのに

突然出てこなくなった。

撮っても撮ってもブログにもＧ＋にも

iPhoneの写真がＰＣから拾えなくて。

設定されてないなら始めにも来なかったわけだし

電話の方もＰＣの方も、リンクするように

ひっくり返してどこで設定するのか探した。

そのまま不明瞭だったのだけど

なぜかまた急に出てくるようになった。

うっかりしてて隣の家のアボカドを

チェックするのを忘れていました。

花はもう殆ど終わっていて

小指の先ほどのアボカドの実が・・・

随分あった。豊作かな？

Spanish Moss flower.....it could be a rare photo:-)

Nobody expect flowers of this plant,

and it's hard to find....

I'm proud of me, 

and I like this tiny flower!!

スパニッシュモスに花が咲く、という発想は

あまりないし。

トロピカルなので季節を限定するのも

なかなか難しいし。

前にも一度見つけたことがあって、

またあるかなあ、春だから。

とウロウロしてたら

十勝の小豆

いつ発芽させたんだったか、すぐに伸び始めたが
ここで止まってしまって・・・
でも黄色い花をつけている。
何というか、伸び始めてみたら十勝じゃない、
と気が付いたかのような。

一週間後、豆の鞘が４センチ位の長さ、
すごく細い。
小豆、ちゃんと入ってるのかな。
葉は黄色くなってきてしまいました・・・・

非常に小さいのですが、
ちゃんと入っていました。
G+の友達から聞きましたが、
「植物は季節か環境かの異変を感じると植物は一気に開花と実を作るようです。」
というわけで、
十勝の小豆は、目を覚ましたらフロリダの暑い気候にビックリして
急いで花と実をつけたというわけですか。
焦ったんだろうなあ、ごめんね。
