Alligator Alley

Finally! We saw an alligator in Alligator Alley(I-75)! Like my photo a few days ago, a lot of birds were by the water at the Sunset, and this alligator was maybe trying a bird out of them.

南フロリダの東西を横断する道路７５号線を、通称アリゲーター道路、と呼んでいます。両側ともエバーグレーズ、何もない、ただただ広い湿地の中を横切る痛快な道路です。時々エバーグレーズとか、数日前の鳥の写真とか、撮りに行きますが、名前とおりアリゲーターを見たのは始めてです、あまり広すぎるから・・・・水辺の鳥をねらっていたらしいけど、この写真、よく見るとジロッと私をにらんでるようです。
