African Spurred Tortoise

This was taken at Flamingo Garden on 6/18/08. I usually don't like turtles, totally not interested in Tortoises....because they are not interesting and because they have snake eyes.
But look at this one, he looked so content in the fallen flower of Royal Poinciana, in the big shade under that tree.
一概に言って、亀の類はすきではありません。全然興味ありません。のろのろしていて面白くないしあの目はヘビの目だからいや・・・・！でもフラミンゴガーデンにいたこの大きな陸亀、ポインシアナの大きな木の陰で、きれいな花びらが落ちた赤いじゅうたんの上で、なんとも気持ち良さそうでした。
