Sea Grape

Never thought of flowers of Sea Grapes.....but of course, if there are fruits, there must be flowers. These tiny flowers are about 1/4-inch size in diameter, I had a hard time to get the clear shot. See, they started to form the grapes! The grape photo was taken last year, each grape is a half inch size, resembles grapes. You can make jelly out of these, though I never thought of trying.

ブドウとそっくりの様子で海の近くでたくさん見ます。実がなるということは花が咲いたということだけれど、Sea Grapeの花、なんて考えてみませんでした。小さな小さな花でした。ピント合わせられないくらい。実がムラサキ色になると、食べられるとか。ジャムを作ったりするらしいけど、なぜか試してみようと思ったことがありません。いいにおい、とかしないからかな。
