木の上の鳥

またまたブログを長らくサボってしまいました。
先週はイヤなことばかりで、怒ってばっかりいたので、近くの公園に何度も行きました。
同じ公園で昼と夕方に、同じ題材を撮ってみました。違う鳥ですね。鳥の名前はどうしてもよくわかりません。夕方の鳥は、フロリダのカラス、昼の鳥はもうちょっとカワイイ鳥のようですね。写真に夢中になってるのが、怒るのを忘れる一番の方法です。

1)I didn't find any other exercise classes, means I'm not doing exercises...
2)I should go to my smugmug and starttalking to the others

1)Her wisdom tooth is a little bit quiet down, again....
2)One of the two favorite came back a few days ago with a ripped tip in the ear......I don't want to think bad things happened to them.....
3)I want her to be just honest, not to do anything that she has to hide.

Happy New Year....a little too late?

Resolution:1) Find out other classes at my Gym and go there more.

Because of my work schedule, I can't go to my favorite

classes on Mondays and Wednesdays

2)Get serious and active with Photography

Concerns: 1)My daughter's wisdom tooth started bothering her ....

2)The favorite two of my nine outside cats weren't there

for 4 days....

3)How to deal with my daughter, about her boyfriend :-)

Merry Christmas 2010

Exactly one year ago, we had Meow and Grey, two outside cats near our Apartment's compactor, and before this summer, 5 kittens came.

Look who's here now!! In the beginning of December, another two little kittens!! The body on the left is one of the 5 kittens, now this big and see how small the new ones are! I have 9 cats to feet outside:-)

Merry Christmas 2010 came and gone, we were driving around the neighborhood to see their Christmas decorations, this is one of the nicest one! Also, the Moon was very big and very orange over the lower sky, it was fantastic.

Mom

This picture was taken in Hokkaido last June, she was happy with her grand-daughter, and in her hometown.

My brother left for Japan this morning, to bring our Mom to the States, she will be here in two weeks.

She'd been living alone in Tokyo for a few years after my Dad passed away, but anyway, he hadn't lived in the same house for decades....since I was a small kid, he'd come home only on Wednesdays and weekends, for his Clinic (and house) was in outside Tokyo, he was a workaholic doctor.

So, Mom is used to be by herself, but not anymore....getting old and she wants to be with us, even she gives up "Japan", her house for many years with a lot of memories and her friends....

We will make her happy here!!

８月はとうとう、ここにひとつも新しい書き込みをしませんでした・・・・・
雨の多い季節です。とってもすごく暑かった夏でしたが、雨の降るたびに、なんとなく秋っぽい感じになってくるような・・・
雨と言っても、フロリダの夏の雨はサーッときてピタッとやむ、トロピカルシャワーです。降ったあとには太陽がギンギンに戻ってきて・・・でも今年のはもっと普通の雨っぽい・・・雷がならなかったり、ダラダラとずっと降っていて、その後も曇り空の暗い日のまま。ハリケーンにまで発達しないでいてくれるのは助かりますが、ひとつはここを避けてカナダの方を襲いましたね。全世界、お天気が本当に狂ってきています。もう一度「The Day After Tomorrow」の映画を見て、あの映画がどれだけ真実に近いか、よく考えてみるといいよね。

Dry Tortugas

Dry Tortugas National Park.....located 70 miles west of Key West, we took a tour boat on 7/15/10 for a day tour. 2 and a half hour ride one way. There's Fort Jefferson which occupied the biggest island - Garden Key - which constructed in 1846 and used as a prison too.

Dr. Samuel Mudd was convicted of conspiracy in the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln and sent to Fort Jefferson Prison in 1865. If you are interested in the history, go to

I am just thinking, that....if you are in prison cell and you have the view from it's window as beautiful as Dry Tortugas, and the Bush Key(above) with birds flying around - a paradise! - ......it makes things more difficult or easier...comforting... to stay inside...???

Dr. Muddは、リンカーン大統領を暗殺した男の折れた足を治療したことで、共謀の疑いを受け、Dry Tortugasが牢獄として使われていた当時、１８６５年にここに送られてきました。１８６７年に黄熱病がDry Tortugasを襲い、任務についていた医者が亡くなり、Dr. Muddが後任として目覚しい働きを見せ多くの命を救った事実から、恩赦を受けて、４年の投獄生活後に釈放されたそうです。

牢獄の窓から見える景色がこれほど美しく、鳥たちは自由に飛びまわるパラダイスだったら、囚われの身としてはより一層つらいものか、それともなぐさめられるものか、考えてしまいます。
