Yellow tree, Red tree

This yellow tree photo was taken March 2007
The yellow tree above, Yellow Poui (Tabebuia serratifolia), is "The flowering tree of March" here. The very bright yellow flowers arrive before the leaves, so it looks just "yellow tree", so gorgeous. Every year, when March comes, we see these trees everywhere and they make us feel spring. But this year, yellow trees were not so yellow, not many flowers, not everywhere. Because the temperature was much lower this year? Before the flowers cover the tree, the leaves started to come out, didn't make yellow tree all yellow.
But now "The flowering tree of April", Weeping Bottlebrush (Callistemon viminalis) is OK, they are in full bloom everywhere. Red tree.
