　　　　 というわけで、シンメトリーのデイジーで試してみました。これが一番いいな・・・

Flowers in drops

Now the idea of catching flowers in water drops on the glass surface, I used a plastic picture frame and set a red rose behind, wow.....they are flying around! The plastic wasn't good though, I could see the scratches. The rose wasn't great, some symmetrical flower must be better. But I like the metallic feeling on this one, I like the endless bubbles.
ガラスの代わりにプラスティックの額を使ったら、傷が写ってしまいました。それと、赤いバラは色が良く出て、他のところはメタリック調になっていい感じですが、シンメトリーの花にした方が形がはっきりするかもしれません。

This was the beginning of this idea. It was raining and I was sitting inside of my car, waiting for my daughter, picking her up from the school bus. I shot the rain drops on the car window, trying to include some colors by catching the Hibiscus off-focus in the background. Then I saw the reflections in every single drop though they were not clear and there wasn't many reflections. This was April 13, 2008.

４月半ばに雨が降ったので、スクールバスから家までティナを迎えに行った時、車の中で窓にくっついた雨の写真を撮っていました。うしろのハイビスカスの色を入れたらいいな、と思って撮った写真をあとでコンピューターでみて、水滴に赤い花が写っているのを見つけました。というのが、上の写真のアイディアの始まりでした。その状況をセットアップしてみた結果です。

Sprinkler

It was "Plantation Herritage Park" in my city on a hot dry day of 5/7/08. I saw this flower garden but the Sun was too strong and flowers looked tired for the photos, I was wishing if I have a water bottle to spray some on the flowers. Then I went to some other parts in the park, and when I passed the same spot again, the sprinkler was on!! See what a great accent the water makes!

Morning Glory

Morning Glory Day...2 week and a half. This one is ready to climb up. Some of the seeds had never emerged, some of them had never grown bigger, some grow slowly, and this one is the fastest.

My Niece's Dance Night

FAU - Florida Atlantic University - where my niece goes, was locked down yesterday for the gun shooting matter in the early morning. Our neighborhood, our cities were not very dangerous, not much gun shooting problems before, but I think it's worse recently. We hear more news about the gun shooting, it is not a problem of somebody else and somewhere else anymore....... Anyway, my niece was supposed to have a performance, "Dances we dance" last night but it was canceled because of the lockdown, postponed to tonight. She danced the last dance, "Rhapsody", she was beautiful, I am proud of her!

姪の通っているカレッジで、昨日銃の発砲騒ぎがあり、学校が一時閉鎖されたため、彼女がカレッジ一年生として頑張った結果を見せるダンスの発表会がキャンセルになってしまいました。この近辺は他のアメリカの地域に比べても問題が少なくて、銃問題はほとんど心配する必要がなかったのに、この頃はニュースに銃撃戦とかが頻繁に出てくるようになりました。最も、ニュースになるくらいだからまともなのかもしれません。日常茶飯事だったらニュースに取り上げられないものね。

で、ダンスは一日のびて今夜になり、行って見てきました。彼女は３－４歳の時からバレエを続けてやってきて、とうとうカレッジでもその力を伸ばすチャンスを得、とてもいいダンスを見せてくれました。

The second gangs

They were moving, picking, swimming.....and I saw these kids fell asleep and were floating around!! ふっと見たら、この子たち、居眠りしてました。ゆらゆら浮かんで水の動きに流されてた。

I was looking for the 5-duckling-family, and bumped into this 16-duckling-family today. The second gangs this year. I gave them some bread crumbs, so Mom ducky let me take some pictures after that. Still, she was protective and tried to stand between the chicks and me, but pretty much she was saying "OK, you could take pictures."

先日の５匹の家族を探していたら、なんと１６匹の家族にバッタリ出会いました。パンくずをあげたあと、ママダッキーは用心深く私を見ながらも、写真撮ってもいいよ、って感じで、しばらくそばにいてくれました。

Tulips

Tulip is one of my favorite. I like yellow tulips. These red tulips are store bought, and lasted only 2 days, that's what I don't like about tulip......they don't last long at all.
Look at the bottom two tulips, don't you think that they are saying "I love you"?

チューリップは大好きな花のひとつですが、長持ちしないのがたまにキズ・・・・この写真は花束を買った日、次の日にはちょうどよく開いてもう一度写真を撮り、３日目にはもうだめになってしまいました。
